Glenda Vaccaro
Glenda Vaccaro is an Italian-American artist born in Livorno in 1993 to a Livornese father and an American mother, both painters. Growing up surrounded by colours and brushes, she developed a passion for painting and graphic art from an early age.
Her paintings tell the story of Livorno through its best-loved places: the Terrazza Mascagni, the Venezia quarter, the Meloria and Castel Boccale. She is also well known for her Pinocchios, inspired by the fairy tales her mother told her as a child. Her bond with the United States, discovered on a trip to Chicago, is another recurring thread in her imagery.
Through her work Glenda invites us to dream and to rediscover the magic of the past that still lives within each of us. She has exhibited in several galleries and has taken part in several editions of Lucca Comics and of Ludi Comics in Empoli.
All artworks come with a certificate of authenticity and can be custom framed in our workshop in Livorno.
