Athos Faccincani
Nato a Peschiera del Garda nel 1951, Athos Faccincani ha vissuto un'evoluzione artistica tra le più affascinanti del panorama contemporaneo. Dopo una prima fase espressionista e drammatica, incentrata sugli emarginati e sulla sofferenza umana, che gli valse il titolo di Cavaliere della Repubblica conferitogli da Sandro Pertini, l'artista ha compiuto una radicale svolta cromatica.
Abbandonati i toni cupi, Faccincani è diventato il celebre cantore della luce e del colore, dipingendo paesaggi mediterranei, giardini rigogliosi e scorci marini carichi di gioia vitale. Le sue opere sono esposte in permanenza nelle gallerie e nei musei di tutto il mondo, da New York a Tokyo.
