Carmignani Giancarlo
Giancarlo Carmignani nasce a Buenos Aires, da genitori italiani. Vive in Argentina fino all’età di cinque anni, poi con i suoi genitori si trasferisce in Italia, prima a Livorno dopo a Pisa.
Giancarlo, giovanissimo, inizia da autodidatta il suo percorso pittorico. Le sue opere sono indirizzate alla rappresentazione di un naturalismo e di una realtà, tradizionale toscana, improntata nell’espressione “post-macchiaiola”, che è stata fondamentale per la sua formazione. Tale esperienza gli ha fatto acquisire una padronanza tecnica e cromatica che gli ha permesso negli anni successivi, di presentare alla critica, opere di notevole rilievo.
Il percorso artistico di Carmignani risulta lontano dallo sperimentalismo in tutte le sue riforme, le sue revisioni e in tutte le sue rotture. Meglio vivere nell’ambito dei propri mondi creativi, che ricorrere a forzate soluzioni intellettualistiche, che mancano spesso di motivazioni reali e conducano spesso a manierismi assolutamente ripetitivi. Invece l’Arte, si realizza secondo imprevedibili percorsi personali, alimentata da passioni diverse e da itinerari talvolta contrastanti e opposti, anche se i risultati, ovviamente, hanno lo stesso indirizzo. Nelle tele dell’Artista predomina sempre la LUCE, allusiva, disponibile, per una lettura ro mantica delle situazioni. È il genuino interprete di una natura a lui familiare, alla quale sa dare quella “magia”, che da all’opera quell’atmosfera di tempi lontani e di valori perduti.
La sua opera vuol essere un messaggio sereno di riflessione e di amore per la vita e per la natura. Ha partecipato a rassegne e tenuto mostre personali. Sue opere figurano in collezioni private.
