Giglia Acquaviva
Giglia Acquaviva ist eine argentinische Malerin, geboren in Mendoza, teilweise in Kalifornien aufgewachsen und seit 2003 in Italien. Sie wuchs in einer Familie auf, in der Musik, Malerei und Theater zum Alltag gehörten; als Kind spielte sie Klavier und entdeckte während eines langen Aufenthalts in der Nähe des Yosemite Park ihre Begeisterung für die Schönheit und Kraft der Natur.
Ihre ersten Arbeiten waren Ledertapisserien und Kopien von Meistern wie Picasso, Gauguin, Magritte, Klimt und Cézanne. Dann fand sie zu einer eigenen Technik, die Acryl und Sand verbindet und unkonventionelle Werkzeuge wie Röhren, Schwämme und Papier einsetzt, die der Malerei eine plastische, haptische Textur verleihen. Ihre stilisierten, lebendigen Bilder mit Anklängen an griechische, etruskische, aztekische, inkaische, römische und orientalische Kunst erzählen von Landschaften, Burgen und kleinen „castellucci“, realen oder imaginären, von alten Erinnerungen und visuellen Träumen.
Die Werke werden mit Echtheitszertifikat geliefert und können in unserer Werkstatt in Livorno nach Maß gerahmt werden.
