Salvatore Magazzini
Salvatore Magazzini was born on 28 February 1955 in Pistoia, where he lives and works. He has been exhibiting since 1969, and his works are held in collections in Italy and abroad – in Switzerland, France, the United States, Germany, Japan, Morocco and Colombia; since 1991 he has been included in the Prandi international print catalogue of Reggio Emilia.
Mario Luzi described his painting as “a clean, steady, convincing art”, able to combine vision and solidity. The Mediterranean is the backdrop to many of his works: seaside towns, Berber markets, coves with fishing boats, full of colour, light and memories suspended between dream and melancholy.
In our gallery you will find his oil paintings, original artworks with custom framing made in our workshop in Livorno.
