Marco Lodola was born in Dorno, in the province of Pavia, and studied at the Academies of Fine Arts in Florence and Milan, completing his studies with a thesis on the Fauves. His influences include Matisse, Fortunato Depero and Fra Angelico.

In the early 1980s, together with a group of artists, he founded the Nuovo Futurismo (New Futurism) movement in Milan, whose leading theorist was the critic Renato Barilli. His pop style has become an unmistakable signature: since 1983 he has exhibited in major Italian and European cities, including Rome, Milan, Paris, Vienna, Madrid and Amsterdam.

He has collaborated with brands such as Swatch, Coca-Cola, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Illy and Valentino, with writers such as Aldo Busi and Tiziano Scarpa, and with musicians such as 883, Jovanotti and Timoria. Critics who have written about him include Dorfles, Sgarbi and Daverio.

In our gallery you will find his screen prints, including the Lodolandia 30x30 series and works on Plexiglas, with certificate of authenticity and custom framing made in our workshop in Livorno.
